I want to be everything all at once

Life is complicated and so is my mind, my feelings and my desires.

Have you ever wondered what am i gonna do in my life? How am i going to achieve the things that i dream about, if people say derams are only fantasies we make to feel less lonely.

I never knew what i want to be in my life, had friends that knew from a very young age that they wangted to be an actor, “ i want to work at an office” ," I love dance, i am gonna become a dancer” but what about us. Us, the people that want to be everything all at once.

When i was little everyone aksed my what to you wanna become when you grow up, i used to say doctor (knowing very well i can’t handle the drop of blood), a teacher ( i can’t deal with little kids screaming all the time), a police woman (i am the most easily terridied person in the world) and so it went on until i went to high school and decided out of the blue i am gonna be a journalist. But what happens when you don’t only want to be a journalist?

You want to study social media and marketing or open a little corner cafe that you’ll be running with your sister or maybe a bookshop that people will be able to sit and read their favourite books while others are shopping for tulips, roses and sunflowers from the flower market that you’ll have outside the bookshop.

Every door in my mind has me in different jobs that only one can dream, so what do you decide to do in this life? How do you know what is the right path for you?

You just don’t, you start from your firts love in my case journalism and built everything else together. The advice i’d give not only myself but everyone else who is struggling with that question is, don’t rush it.

Live your life, enjoy your moments with your loved ones and everything that is meant for you will come. Don’t rush things, trust universe and God and everything will work out for you!

I know peope are used to saying that we don’t have a lot of time and we feel kind of pressured to decide right know and at a very young age what we want to do with our lives, but why not change the perspective?

We have so much time to do everything we want, we will become who we dream to be, we will accomplish our goals. Yes, you can be everything all at once don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise if you believe it you’ll be!

If you want to study biology go for it, if you’re not sure you like your profession change it, don’t settle for a life that you’ll regret growing up.

An Greek actress that is in her 50s always says “ I don’t know what i’ll become when i grow up” Let this be our moto about how we expirience life and the dreams that are still waiting for us to come and get them.
